We are not attorneys and do not offer legal advice. If you are facing criminal charges we suggest you talk to a professional attorney.

Medications

When you are first processed in the Los Angeles County Jail they will ask you what medications you take. You need to be completely honest with them at this point. You will go to see a nurse when you are booked in and it will delay your housing by about a day.

Medications are delivered three times per day - either a nurse will come through and deliver your meds or you will be called to the nurse office to take your medicine. Remember, the jail wants you to be taken care of so they will give you access to just about anything that you need as long as you have a prescription for it.
